A very unusual Victorian Silver napkin ring with twisted knot design. This is a really striking napkin ring which bears Victorian Silver Import marks.
Assay Office: London (Import)
Maker: Henry Charles Freeman
Date: 1895
Silver weight: 16g
Condition -
This napkin ring is in very good condition with no damage as it is obviously handmade there are some individual characteristics which are inevitable when manipulating the silver into this design. The ring itself is not quite round - again expected in something handmade and the metal is slightly compressed / flattened where the hallmark is - again expected. Some minor age related tarnishing around the tighter areas again this is no more than would be expected and adds to the character. Good import hallmarks.
