A lovely silver vesta with shield shaped cartouche, and cross detail. It is profusely decorated with a pattern of Ivy Leaves to the front and back with plain sides. This vesta has a ring attached to the top centre as opposed to on the side which is more common. Ivy Leaves are common used to denote long lasting love or friendship, so this would be a great gift for a loved one or someone special. examples ouble concave shape to the front and back so is raised in the middle from top to bottom. This vesta is in very good condition with no notable damage. The decoration is clear and crisp with no rubbing. The vesta closes well and with a snap - and the hinge is good. The hallmarks are good. This silver vesta exhibits surface marks and scratches on the sides and cartouche which are associated with use and are commensurate with age and use.
