A super quality Victorian solid silver vinaigrette by Nathaniel Mills of traditional form and design. This silver vinaigrette is profusely decorated to the top with a diamond and dot pattern and a much plainer and simpler reverse. The lid has an applied and decorated edge. The top has a central shaped cartouche which is unengraved. This silver vinaigrette is hallmarked for Nathaniel Mills who was the most eminent Silversmith of the period and particularly well regarded for producing highly decorated, high quality silver boxes, silver card cases and silver vinaigrettes. This is a truly high quality silver vinaigrette in great condition making it a lovely piece of collectable silver.
