A solid silver box with embossed decoration to the sides, lid and base. The lid is hinged and flips open. There are import hallmarks on the side of the lid and the rim of the base. There are also continental silver marks on the base - see last picture.

Condition -
Overall this is in good condition with no dings or dents. There are light surface marks only. There is very slight rubbing to the embossed decoration on the lid but this is not holed or damaged in any way. The inside has some light polish residue. The box closes snugly and the hinge works well however the pin for the hinge protrudes on one end of the hinge. This is fixed solid and is not loose - see pictures.
