An unusual Victorian silver vesta or matchbox. This is oval in shape with a flip top lid and all round the edge is a ribbed striker. This is plain with no decoration but is engraved with initials to the centre. Clearly hallmarked on the underside of the lid and on the inside of the base. A very collectable silver vesta / matchbox.

Condition -
This is in good condition with some minor dents on the base. The hallmarks are clear and legible, The striker has no damage and overall the box has surfaces marks and light scratches commensurate with age and use.
