An unusual silver jug designed as a Guernsey Milk Churn. This unusual silver jug is a highly collectable silver item from the 1920s.
Assay Office: Birmingham
Maker: William Griffiths & Sons
Date: 1920
Silver weight: 39g
Condition-
Excellent, there isn't any damage to this jug, the design and shape is still sharp, there is some very light and minor surface marks due to age and use which are commensurate with age and light use. There are some darker marks around the base - see pictures but again these are expected on a piece of this age. The lid is marked as would be expected of a quality piece of silver and the jug is gilded inside. The lid fits very well.
