An Edwardian silver vesta with heart shaped cartouche and profusely decorated with a foliate pattern including flowers which is quite unusual. This vesta has a lovely rounded shape, is slightly deeper than most and is extremely tactile. The cartouche is engraved with a period monogram. The reverse is also beautifully decorated. A lovely quality silver vesta to add to a collection or start a new one or this would make a perfect silver gift.

Condition -
This vesta is in excellent condition with no damage. The decoration is clear and crisp with no rubbing. The vesta closes well and the hinge is good. The hallmarks are also clear. This silver vesta shows only minimal surface marks and scratches on the sides and cartouche associated with minimal use and are commensurate with age and very light use.
