A lovely and unusual Christening set comprising of a knife, spoon and fork. This is a great set by a good maker / silversmith. The spoon and fork have matching handles with conjoined circles, they are also curved and very tactile, the knife has a silver blade and bone handle. The spoon and fork have matching date marks and the knife has is a year newer - see pictures. This is quite common with sets which were made up from individual pieces, or it may be that the knife was added to make a bespoke set at the time of purchase. It comes in its original box. A great set in lovely condition which could be given as a traditional gift at a Christening to continue an age old tradition on a significant occasion.

Condition -
Very good overall, the spoon and fork are in excellent condition and are free from dents, dings or damage with minimal surface marks from use and polishing. The knife is in very good condition with just one minor defect in the silver blade which appears to be a bend that has been straightened out but is still visible - see picture. There are some very slight and minor surface marks commensurate with age and use. Hallmarks are good and match on the spoon and fork but the knife has a different date mark, the silver ferrule at the top of the handle has been overstruck. The box is original and in good condition with some minor scuffs to the outside but these are expected for its age.
