A late Victorian silver vesta of compact square form with shaped cartouche, profusely decorated with a pattern of flowers and leaves. The cartouche is unengraved and the reverse is also beautifully decorated. A lovely quality silver vesta to add to a collection or start a new one or this would make a perfect silver gift.

This vesta is in very good condition with no damage. The decoration is clear and crisp with no rubbing. The vesta closes well and the hinge is good. The hallmarks are also clear. This silver vesta shows only minimal surface marks and scratches, heavier on the sides and cartouche, associated with minimal use and are commensurate with age and light use.
