Hallmarked Silver Scent Bottle Chester 1905 in Original Case

This is a lovely silver scent bottle profusely decorated with an Acanthus pattern pattern to both the front and the back.  There are hallmarks to the front, back and the lid showing the quality of this piece of silver.  The attention to detail and the implementation of this is incredible.   There is a central round cartouche with a period engraved Monogram.  The lid is a screw cap and has a cork stopper.  This is a superb quality piece of silver in great condition.  It is hallmarked in Chester and comes in its original velvet lined box making it a highly collectable piece of Edwardian silver.

Condition -

This is in very good condition with no damage to the body or lid and the engraving is crisp with no rubbing,  Showing very minor signs of age from light use.  The hallmarks are good except the makers mark which is rubbed and are in three places as previously mentioned.  The box is in good condition although the hinge is very slightly wobbly.
